I have worked for the Gensler San Jose office for over 3 years. It is not a typical Gensler office in that our culture is more relaxed. People are friendly, and the work environment is flexible. There used to be a strong culture that was fun, but some expansion/contraction in the staffing has done away with that. This and the low rate of pay for the area and for the workload have made it a less than desirable place to work for me. However, as a firm, there are a lot of interesting projects.
