"This department is great for new people learning Networking and Linux. They do not like that you automate or try to advance unless you are a friend of them."
"I've been working for AT&T as a contractor for over 8 years."
"I worked for AT&T for 10 years and I would recommend them as an employer. They offer competitive pay and excellent benefits."
"The reviews I have read have been fairly accurate to my experience as a Prem Tech. Maybe you will get a manager that sincerely works in your best interest, but many know how to get their metric completed without investing in you. Heaven forbid your manager actually cares about the possibility of you losing your job. The company is way too convoluted and has a department for every little thing. Process is hammered, yet software tools are not designed to promote process in the field."
"Overall a great company to work for."
"I worked with AT&T for a number of months now, not a bad experience, actually quite good with opportunities to advance. Compensation could be somewhat better for the number of hours."
"Back in 2003 while the company was under BellSouth, it was an awesome place to work. When AT&T took over, darkness entered my life. They changed compensation to make it difficult to earn commissions. Micro managed you to death. Management were dogs. In 2010, 90% of my co workers quit. They even developed a pay plan where if your customer didn't pay their bill, you did."
"I would recommend AT&T as a employer."
"Had my job not been eliminated or outsourced I would have stayed with AT&T. They are a great company and believe in empowering their employees and contractors."
"I work for BellSouthAT&T for the past 13 years. It was a great company to work for."
"ATT does not allow you to have a work/ life balance."
"Long hours (working 8 am until 9 or 10 pm during the summer months), low pay (I started around $13/hr), hostile work environments (hot attics in summer, working outside in freezing rain in the winter) being forced to leave your home and family for months at a time to be loaned out to places you don't want to be. Zero respect for you as a person. Forget about having a personal life because you won't have time for family, friends or anything else."
"I've worked at ATT since May 2010. I loved the people that I worked with and established many friendships during my tenure."
"ATT is a good company with many benefits."
