"AT&T is a great company that has paid training and doesn't require a lot of certifications. Ive been working for the company for about 2 years going on three now. For the position that I am in, there is little to no supervision required and I like that a lot. As long as you are doing what you're supposed to be doing and being where you're supposed to be, you should NO problems whatsoever. The pay is ok, especially if you don't have any experience at all. The raise is every six months, until you hit max pay. It's a great position for those who don't have kids or a family, due to the fact that you are working so many hours, nights included. One of the great things about working for this company are the benefits, like 50% off all services. I hope this review helps anybody who is interested!"

"I liked learning new technologies every month and solving advanced technical problems."

"Just be yourself and answer their questions as quickly as possible."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"AT&T procedures and documents would change every quater. At one point I had 6 managers in 9 months."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"There needs to be more stability for teams and managers. Changing managers every tour bid disrupts chemistry between the employer and their employees."

"Numbers, numbers, numbers. AT&T is all about the numbers."

What do you like about working at AT&T?

"I got a pretty decent paycheck."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"Its all about the numbers and not at all about the customer. Management thinks of new and ridiculous things to pinpoint and then change their mind about. They don't care about employees so you'd better not get sick. Say goodbye to your social life because you get scheduled to work at any hour - even holidays and weekends. They're never willing to help an employee."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Remember the concept of quality vs. quantity. It's important."

"My coworkers, and nothing else."

"If you're upper management, you'll fit right in, if not, think long and hard about your decision."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"We were micromanaged way too much, and the metrics of our scorecards were changed too often and were error-ridden. There was no sense of ownership on the job, as upper management didn't care for individual employee. Employees are never asked for their feedback on how to improve the workplace."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Allow for more meaningful feedback from the employees. If there is an outage or the scorecards are inaccurate, the call center employees should not have that count against them, as they have no control over these circumstances."

"Be careful with what they promise you. Make sure you get everything in writing."

"The constant war between the union workers and management."
