"I've worked for AT&T for six months now, I have found that people on the retail side are not treated as well as those on the cooperate side. I also found that the management techniques of my specific location to be unprofessional and very inefficient. However the benefits are great, but the work to life balance is negligible at best."
"I've worked at AT&T for 5 years overall - great environment and great place to make good money. But the commission structure stinks, you sale then get charged back due to fraud or possible fraud. In telesales there should not be any charge-backs, we worked hard to close the sale for the company to turn around and take it back from us like we did not do the sale properly. Value the hard work DMDR does for the company, stop looking for ways to not pay your employees for their hard work."
"AT&T is a great company but the problem it has is with technological advancement outside the area of telecom. It's currently trying hard to compensate by hiring from the wrong community despite the lack of rudimentary knowledge for the job. This ends up with the all familiar cycle of hiring cronyism and those with real talents will be buried."
"I have worked for ATT since June 2013 just as intern and have received equal amount of respect as any other employee would get. The work environment is awesome as well."
"Overall very good experience working with ATT."
"I worked of AT&T for about a year. While the opportunity is a good one there are too many restrictions for it be called a open environment. And you also have very little control of what you will be doing and may end in a completely unrelated position than the one you originally started out with."
"AT&T is the worst company I ever worked for. Good concepts but horrible plant issues. Over the top enforcement of rules. My biggest issue was I didn't believe in the product, how can you compete with cable companies using the same lines that were put in when AT&T first came to Houston. U Verse is no good."
"I've worked for LSI/Agere/Lucent/AT&T for 18 years. The business is focused on the top tier of companies in the wireless and telecommunications field so the requirements are demanding. This makes the work fascinating and envigorating, but with the shifting sands of the field, there have been a seemingly endless string of layoffs (at one point going from 16800 to 2800 employees), followed by merger, then more layoffs as legacy product revenues have diminished."
"The pay needs to be higher for the volume of work being done especially if you are short staffed."
"I have worked here for past 2 years, it is a good environment to work and provides opportunity for learning and growth. I will recommend it."
"I've worked as an independent contractor for Arise Virtual Solutions for over 3 years. I am currently working with AT&T mobility taking tech support and billing calls."
"It was a great place to work if you're in high school."
"I have been working with same client from last 7 years and I would recommend AT&T a better place to work."
"I've worked for the AT&T Wifi Support - Technical Support Center for over 3 years now and it's an excellent and rewarding opportunity working there. I have learned a lot and have also helped co-workers learn to become great contributors."
"I work for AT&T for 18 yrs almost, and it was a good company to work for."
