"I've worked for AT&T since 2006."
"GNFO is very dynamic organization to be in. While the things that occur are routine they happen in a sometimes fast paced way that challenges your advanced preparedness and innovation. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your leadership and management skills."
"I found that most leadership roles made it hard to have good morale, there was minimal excitement and very little respect for people. Didn't take into account that people were human and life sometimes throws unexpected turns. Wasn't a flexible place at all, nor were they sensitive to life issues."
"I have worked for AT&T (Pac Bell, SBC) for 32 years and have had a long career with various sales positions. AT&T provides great pay with great benefits and support tools to accomplish the tasks of your job very well. It is a large corporation with specific goals and tasks presented very clearly."
"Have been working for about 3 years now. Very good team to work with, using cutting edge web technologies. Too bad they have 3 year limitations for contractors. Would love to work with them again should such opportunities."
"The overall job with dealing with customers and the technology is EXCELLENT! The problem with the company is the lack of caring they have for their employees. They constantly look for something to discipline you for and write you up. 90% of the people who I worked for experienced anxiety, stress, depression, sleep disorders, and were in constant fear of losing their jobs. This is not good for morale or motivation. Also the company is divided into management and union workers."
"AT&T has a metric system for field technicians that makes the work environment quite bad. Field technicians are told where to be and what to do every minute of the day. If you enjoy using your head and making the most of your day I would keep looking. My supervisor is a good guy, however which helps."
"I've been with AT&T for almost 8 years and I like what I am currently doing. A few changes I would recommend but overaIl, I like the atmosphere, my coworkers, and my managers."
"ATT is a fantastic company to work for. The premise tech position is slave for hire work. The hours to get the Uverse system installed are too long and cumbersome. The pay and hours do not equate and therefore you work massive hours of overtime just to balance a livable income."
"In the time I've been with AT&T I have developed a strong camaraderie with my co-workers, and the tools available to perform my duties are at my disposal."
"Telling the truth 10% of the time is an issue in this office."
"Very poor culture. No training or direction. Leadership does not communicate well. Office building is a dump. Typical of large companies, it's all about money - not people. Leadership seems to think that if employees feel like they are heard nothing else will matter, which is insulting. Offices are in undesirable locations like Dallas and New Jersey. Very limited room to move forward. Penny pinching to the point of being damaging. Pay/benefits are good, although not sure they are ultimately worth it."
"Company is good to work for, Nice work environment, Latest technology but currently outsourcing jobs and lot of cost cutting."
