"The lack of recognition by upper management. Be more involved."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Honest, positive and great morale. Always stand behind your team."

"Benefits were great, and there was union representation. Structure was good, dress code was casual... I learned a lot!"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Know that communication is lacking when it comes to the future of the company and the jobs. There's very little ongoing training and few opportunities for employees to learn about all the different jobs AT&T has to offer."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"Not enough positive recognition. As a supervisor there, I would have to use my own money for any type of recognition for my group. Upper management was never present. Too many jobs were sent out of the US, which meant that too many jobs were cut in CA."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Keep the employees employed - stop outsourcing! If outsourcing DOES need to happen, make sure employees are kept in the loop and know what will be happening in the future."

What do you like about working at AT&T?

"Working with AT&T gave me the opportunity to develop my networking skills, as well as increase my ability to interact with different personalities in order to complete a project."

"My advice for applicants for this company would be to make sure you know where you are applying and what your purpose in your own career means to you when you are at this job."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"I didn't like AT&T for the fact that the employees were not individuals. Employees were not treated as single entities, just worker bees on the same goal. Everyone was expendable."

"The money and overtime opportunities were good. AT&T wages and benefits are the best I have come across."

"They seem to lack employee appreciation. Senior management makes business decisions without consulting with the people it will affect the most."
