"I enjoyed working in a group center environment troublestooting DWDM Cisco ONS54154 multiplexers, Fujitsu 7500 multiplexers, and the Sonic Fujitsu 4000 series multiplexers."

"Management did not have any electronics experience. We had to depend on each other."

"I am working as a contractor and hence this may not be applicable. But I am looking forward to have a more hourly rate and facility to work on 1099 basis."

"Avoid friendships as they lead to problems and politics. Just do your job and don't be afraid to go to HR if you truly feel it is justified."

"People are just numbers and there are heavy politics and back-stabbing."

"Remember that the people under get you to where you are and keep you there. Nothing happens without the little man and they are people too. They sacrifice with little recognition."

"Reliable work coming straight out of college, an exciting work environment, and the opportunity for relocation."

"Be willing to put in a lot of hours and don't be afraid to pick up the telephone."

"We were unprepared for success in the job. Organization was poor and there was not enough expertise to learn from."

"Focus on preparing for the job as well as for being a professional. You did a great job preparing people to be professional but nobody was ready for the job itself."

"The people that are on my team are great, and the freedom to do my job the best I see fit is fantastic."

"Put in a ton of hours up front learning the products, technology and services, and will pay huge time and financial dividends later."

"The time it takes to get things done and the unethical practices."

"Focus on the bigger picture and your clients instead of the short term."

"I like everything about my job here at AT&T. The people I work with are wonderful and I have a great boss."

"Be a go-getter. You aren't going to have a lot of back up or training. You will get out of the job what you put into learning the ropes within the company. Put your best foot forward and have fun."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"I don't care for the commute to Cambridge, but they allow me to come in early and leave early to avoid the traffic."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest to the management to have better training in place for new hires. I was on my own learning the software and reading all the documentation. I feel a company should take time with new employees to show them the ropes and get them up to speed with how they run things."
