"I loved my job, but we moved our office from the beautiful El Segundo area to Carson, CA."

"Be more involved with employees. Have more training sessions off-site, even you need to hold them at another office."

"Great company to work for, make sure you are a good communicator, and willing to do hard sales."

"Not very flexible with my school schedule. I did not enjoy the hours scheduled."

"Better communication to upper management and customer relations. Customers were often unhappy with policies."

"I like the independence I have to work on my own and complete task without supervision. I also liked the knowledge and skills I have gained."

"I don't like that my contract is ending sooner than was mentioned."

"I don't have any suggestions for management. The management staff is great."

"Lack of structure and organization within team to communicate deadlines and expectations."

"There is no room for growth, a glass ceiling does indeed exist."

"Understand that we are a team, working together should be an easy situation."

"I like the technology although it is not for me anymore with the change of events of what my needs are."

"The hard work will get you probably an asst to asst mgr, which will pay you less than after store manager. While becoming a store manager in retail you will work harder than ever because you will be always on the grind. You might as well have a pillow for overnight work at the office. You will just have to hope that it is noticed. While doing so a new college grad will just skip all those steps and become the big boss after three months of training."

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"I have been here for so long and it is putting a stress on my life. Weekends are not guaranteed. Commissions are lowered every year. But it would be great for someone just starting out. I have just hit a plateau. Standing all day and just a number on a spreadsheet. Do not feel valued."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Since the frontline is the motor of the company I would stop lowering commissions and give more opportunities to move up excluding becoming some type of retail frontline manager."

"I love field jobs and at this job every day we meet new customers."

"They start late. I like starting work early but they don't listen."

"Listen to what the technician is asking and try to solve the problem."

"Only things I like is the salary and the benefits."

"Be honest and make sure that you are willing and able to do the position you're applying for."

"There is constant pressure to multitask and to meet numbers that are at time impossible to control."

"Allow more opportunities to change departments not necessarily by promotions or upgrades, but lateral moves as well."

"I work with a highly educated, scientific team of people."

"Candidate need to be very smart and knowledgeable. They look for people who are smart in solving problems, rather than just technical."

"The company is not doing the performance analysis in a good way."

"Management can spend on training the team. The performance analysis and proper pay increase must be there."

"I have no suggestion regarding the management. Everything was great."

"I would have two technicians work on the larger jobs."

"They are corporate and their employees are replaceable to them."

"Management is great. It's the CEO above that needs help."

"Once in the field, I am able to work as a professional; making decisions on how to attack and complete the work, empowered to deal with obstacles, and limited management oversight."

"Know what the future holds for the division you are interviewing with. Are they expanding or contracting? What is the growth path for your position?"

What don't you like about working at AT&T?

"The company is moving more toward a computer-based micromanagement of field techs by people who don't realize the challenges involved."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Start with the assumption that your workforce is trying to get the job done rather than cheat you. Find out what the actual conditions are in the field before penalizing employees for not getting the job done fast enough. Realize that many policies inherently require providing poor customer service. Create more opportunities for advancement."
