"I am a contractor with minimal benefits. IBM is very slow in their hiring process. While I work at a manufacturing client, I love manufacturing and am surprised by how much I miss direct involvement in the manufacturing process."

"When you'd find a job you loved, you'd end up getting booted out of it because of restructuring or outsourcing, and when that happened, you'd have to fight to get something, anything, even if you didn't particularly like it, just to keep working."

"Overall, company was solidly pointed in the right direction and well managed. On an individual level, recognizing people's efforts and giving guidance before the fact rather than correction after the fact would go a long way."

"Company too big, cared about only upper management. They got paid well, the little people that did the most work were not paid very well."

"I don't know if I would do it differently because IBM is such a large company. If I did make any change it would be to make the people feel more secure in their jobs. They did a layoffs every year and you didn't feel secure in your job. Also, more of a number, not a real person!"
