"In today's environment of IBM, I would advise a new employee to train with IBM, get the valuable knowledge, then get out before you get into a rut. Or interview for a sales position, those in sales are treated like royalty."

"The management absolutely sucked! Most managers were incompetent technicians that were connected to an executive in the company. IBM continues to promote the incompetents instead of just firing them."

"I would support my employees clearing obstacles and giving them credit rather than taking credit."

"I work from home, have flexible time, access to LAB for testing and training and great co-workers."

"In the past 5 years, I never got any advancement or raise - just a salary reduction."

"There was nothing negative about working for IBM as an accounts receivable administrator."

"The first line managers were responsible for many employees in many locations. Additional managers in each location would have improved personnel management."
