"It was great 10 years ago. Lots of opportunities."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't stray to the dark side. IBM doesn't care about anything but the bottom line and the exec's fat pockets. Stay as far away as you can, even as a customer."

What don't you like about working at IBM?

"Management heavy. Managers don't have a clue about the work the reports do."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Trim 99% and then you might have something. Start at the top and work down."

"The overly, over-processed IBM structure, plus the matrix-management structure to making decisions. In addition, the pay tiers were not market rate and salary raises and promotions were tiered toward older workers."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Ditch the pay band scale--spread the stock option reward to high IC."
