"If you need a job, and can't find one elsewhere, then certainly go ahead and work for IBM. But IBM is a shell of it's former self. It is run by an executive team that has one objective: Get the price of the stock up in the short term so they can sell their options. IBM thinks of employees as Liabilities, not Assets."
"IBM's tunnel vision has left long term customers who still have substantial contracts with IBM for services without the needed resources to effectively complete the work. From what my direct supervisor told me, 90 days after these massive layoffs IBM will be hiring contractors to replace those that were laid off. Many of those being laid off have years of experience and knowledge and will be replaced with resources that are new to the environments. I do not understand how this is putting the customer first."
"IBM is a very good company with several business units working together. It would be an excellent workplace if internal politics were reduced."
"This is a decent company that everybody dreams of."
"Lots of perks but low pay for the technical role, and shady characters in the sales management roles. Many lawsuits just waiting to happen. A company on the downslide and the stock reflects that."

"As an SAP consultant I have been working with IBM and this project at Plycem was so challenging for the the times that the sales team promised. The company Plycem has been recently bought by a Mexican Company."
"I work in this company for almost 4 years now and I should say this is a very competitive organization to work with technically. If you're looking to challenge your skills in all aspects this is the company for you."
