"I've been working for GBM based in Dubai, UAE for the last 4 years. GBM is the IBM Representative in the lower Gulf. Below are my review & ratings about GBM."
"Recommended company. Very important for a career build."
"Pros: IBM is the first company I worked for that supported a balanced work life (work/home). They provide laptops to all employees. You will work with team across the world (India, China, Germany) which could mean non-standard work schedules. Cons: You are a little fish in a big pond. It's very cut-throat, especially if you have a high salary."

"IBM is very good organization to work but in terms of financial growth, this is not right place to spend time."
"I have worked for close to 5 years with this company. It has helped me to grow in my job as well as helped me to learn different aspects of the IT Industry. It has also helped me to participate in charitable work to help children and poor people."
"Waste of time, only good for padding your resume. The pay is awful, the perks are awful, they never do anything on time, they lie and make up excuses about pay, and you can never move up. Once you're in a position, no matter how good you are, they never let you progress in the company."
"Good company, strong customer focus and emphasis on personal development."
"Great company to work for. I loved my time there."
"Overall great Company. The supervisors are great and are very understanding. Work atmosphere is awesome. The pay is very underpaid."
"I joined IBM as part of an acquisition and the shift from start up, small company to big blue was difficult, there's a lot more bureaucracy and politics at play that slows things down. One thing to be aware of is that you will be competing with your co-workers and not working with them towards a better technology."
"IBM is the worst company in the world. Avoid them at all costs. If they sucker you into a job with them, be aware that they will replace you with Indians the second they are able to. All the profits of IBM go to the top execs. You will receive almost none of it"
"I am working in IBM from Nov 2005."
"Love the challenges that may be presented at any time. Like staying a top the latest technologies. That being said, my company does not provide enough training to better help the client."
