"AT&T is a very heavily engineering-oriented company. An emphasis is put on people with strong technical skills. Potential applicants must be calm, patient, and willing to be dependent on long chains of people to accomplish simple tasks. Type A personalities desiring quick turnaround or results will be very frustrated."
What don't you like about working at AT&T?
"Too little autonomy. Poor support from upper management. Large number of stakeholders on projects with poor division of responsibilities and ownership."

"None really. Management has a clear focus of what their goals are."

"Shoot about 2/3 of the former wireline management team and bury them in a very deep hole."
