Working at IBM in New York City, NY: 38 Employee Reviews

Managing Consultant

"The current IBM is not the IBM I joined primarily because it is now only interested in its stock price. Gone are the days when a longer term view was in place. Now, it is all about numbers. And to top it all, contrary to what the press releases say, it is losing tons of money."

"Worked for them for 11 years. They're a pretty demanding company to work for, but if you actively search out opportunities to add value to your role, the possibilities for progression are very good. You need to actively manage your career but there are lots of on-line courses available to you to increase or add to your technical and soft skills."
