"I work for Nomad rides and have been involved with it since its founding back in 2017. I have always operated at an executive level with the company as my best friend is the CEO. I was acting as his advisor while I was working with UPS, but then he asked me to help hom get his company into the Y Combinator, and he would pay me in equity. I accepted and helped get his company in by developing the presentation, financial analysis, projections, and strategy. Eventually, I left when he asked me to start the first round of funding and try to bring in more money. Now, we do ont need anymore funding and I have hired two people to do my day to day activities. So I was fazed out of my own job by my choice. So i am still employed by them but I am looking for my lifelong career job."
"Terrible company to work for racist and unprofessional. Company hired an ex police officer whom was all over the news for sleeping with a minor. I had to get out because I will not compromise my integrity for no one."
"Pros 36.40 an hour. Average 8 hours per week of over time at 54.60 per hour. Union protection. Made 99,***xxx*** $ last year. excellent benefits package that costs the company over 30k per year. top of the line health benefits. 6 weeks of paid vacation per year. early retirement with a great pension. West coast pension fund is one of the strongest in the nation. Cons overtime can be brutal. zero flexibility with the job. Physical nature of the job can easily lead to injuries if you are not careful. Lots of old guys retire with wore out, broken down bodies. home late and never see your family. lots employees here get divorces."
"The job is good but the process is tedious. You are observed how you perform safely. It’s a good job if you like to strain and be on your feet for 12 hours and be in a constant pace."
"Steady work and decent hours."
"I interned at UPS for the summer of 2019, and it was an overall rewarding experience. The culture was very team-oriented, and all the employees were willing to help if you simply asked them. I would recommend anyone to work at UPS if you have a strong work ethic with an open mind!"
"I've worked for UPS for a little over a year. The environment wasn't all that ideal... and neither was the perception of advancement."
"I protect the UPS shield and have respect for my company."
"I worked for cracker barrel for 2 years and have found it to be a great company to allow anyone to grow into something more then even you thought you could not be. They help you with whatever you need and always understanding. Cracker-barrel gives you the opportunity to continue with them anywhere in the united states. Let's say you have to move states they can allow you to kove stores and keep the same hours you needed before or change them if you would like to. I am always welcomed there and always have a spot in my heart for the whole company."
"UPS is a good place to work for. The people there are really nice and professional."
"I really don't have a review at this time, im not sure why is this required for employment"
"Working in operations at UPS is like working on a pirate ship. Its a very fast pace environment where orders are given and followed. We use terms like ghost ship and under-water to describe trucks and their work situation. Everyone swears like sailors at UPS. Drivers at UPS are some of the hardest working lazy individuals I have ever seen."
"Worked at UPS as a Driver Helper. Great Pay. Worked with some good people."
"This company has been great with me- especially our benefits package."
