"I was working at UPS for around a year. I had a wonderful experience during my internship. I was able to learn more technical work and I was part of a complete project life cycle. I had full support from my superior, and UPS is one of the best workplaces."

"Be prepared to sell yourself."

What do you like about working at UPS?

"UPS is a solid company."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Get it in writing! Be direct with your questions. Do not leave anything to chance or ambiguous, as upper management will use it to their advantage."

What don't you like about working at UPS?

"If you're not 100% fit or become slightly ill, then you are slowly and methodically forced out. They do not accommodate fairly if you become partially incapacitated (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, stress, etc.). You will be forced out of a job through bully tactics. Be prepared to sell yourself. Management works 12 - 14 hour days with no compensation package for the time you put in, such as comp days or overtime."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Be respectful, use less threatening tactics, and be more aware that the happier the employee is, the greater he/she will perform. Learn to appreciate achieved goals and accomplishments. Treat those around you and under you respectfully, with dignity and fairly. It will get you much further and earn you more respect."
