"Prepare well for the interview and know what Wells Fargo is all about. DO NOT underestimate the difficulty of it. Unless you are applying for a badly needed job with lots of openings, assume there is a lot of great competition for that one opening. You might be excellent for the position, but there might just be one person slightly more excellent and there is only ONE winner. Also, it should go without saying but WF is a bank. Wear a suit and tie (if you're male, and comparable attire for a female), on the conservative side."

"You can't really characterize all of Wells Fargo with one opinion, since there are so many different experiences people will have. For the most part, we are overworked. (Definitely take your Blackberry with you on vacation.) There is too little recognition (even though the company tries), it is too micromanaged, and some employees don't feel very valued."

"The company is too big and is too difficult to control at the moment. People who manage others need more training on how to do so and what the Wells Fargo vision is on leading people - how they think is not necessarily best."
