What do you like about working at Wells Fargo?

"I like the partnership over lines of business, advancement opportunities, and encouragement by team members and management."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Assess the different groups within Wells Fargo and find where you would fit best and where you would have room to grow, instead of getting stuck in the same job with not much growth."

What don't you like about working at Wells Fargo?

"I dislike the compensation. Employees are discouraged when they are not given sufficient raises or pay promotions and then receive communication about the company's record profits for the quarter."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"As for the CEO: Focus less on profit and more on compensating employees for the work they do, so they feel less like cogs in the wheel doing the work, while shareholders and people at the top get all of the money. As for my manager: Nothing. She is awesome."

What do you like about working at Wells Fargo?

"I feel like my ideas and efforts are appreciated and respected by both fellow team members and managers. I appreciate that they let me work from home and offer reasonable benefits."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Always strive to be at your best, and try to be flexible. There are opportunities to rise within the company. However, you have to actively work for it and apply, apply, apply, as promotions handed down by management are a rare occurrence."

What don't you like about working at Wells Fargo?

"Raises occur once a year but do not suffciently compensate for the ever-increasing cost of living, and they are on the lower scale when compared to other businesses. A promotion handed down by a manager has never occurred during my 10 years with the bank, nor have I ever heard of it happening from my senior co-workers. Bonuses and promotions would be greatly appreciated by all. Promotions only occur when team members actively apply and are hired for new jobs within the company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would offer more inner-office incentives, like gift cards/movie passes, a free gym membership, and host nicer company picnics."
