"Everything about UPS was good. I had great hours and met lots of really nice people in both management and non-management. The pay is far better than other companies. And the benefits I had were superior to all other companies."

"Sometimes they laid off employees, due to being associated with the Teamsters union. I was laid off after several years, even though I wasn't union. The union has too much control over UPS."

"The manager of my department should have hired supervisors who were more experienced, and she played favorites too much."

"This job at UPS rewarded me with the current skill set and experience that I have today. My management teams were great and the family atmosphere was second to none."

"Consider other options for employees and their family in regards to cutting their employees completely out of the company."

"The benefits, the teamwork, the union, and adherence to the mission statement are what makes UPS enjoyable."

"The only unlikable thing about UPS is that unless you go into management, it is hard to get full time hours."

"Listen to the people who work under you more. Even though our company is production oriented, let your people know they are more than just workers."

"Most likely, if you get hired by UPS SCS, you can feel vested and safe in the job. This comes with the balancing condition that you may not be promoted for long."

"It is an extremely stratified structure. It is hard to get titles and labels. When UPS SCS acquires companies, the merging process is done with attention to the titles, and since UPS SCS takes too much care on giving a specific label, the acquired companies may get their people on higher levels."

"The human factor is not a variable on the IE analysis, but an element, the most important in your process."
