"I can only speak from the experience of my managmement. The greatest reward were the people that I worked with and around."

"Be more selective in who is put in a management position. A degree doesn't qualify a person to be a good manager. You are only as good as the people you have under you. They have to be able to identify with the goals of the company."

"Dress professionally. Time Warner Cable is a traditional telecom, and suits were a regular thing to see in the office."

"Politics ran rampant. I had an awful experience with my direct supervisor (as did many of my team mates), and very little was done when our concerns were brought to upper management and HR."

"Sometimes they need to take better care of the people. I understand that work needs to get done, but the needs of the individuals need to be accounted for."

"Team goals are set monthly, along with individual goals. We are able to assist each other in reaching company sales projections."

"If you want to interview with this company, you must be able to work on your own as well as with others. The amount of customer service accounts you maintain is solely your discretion. It is best to know your closing ration in order to know the number of prospects you should talk to in order to meet your projections."

"The branch is now closed and downsized, and many jobs were eliminated."

"Coordinate the call center to take orders more timely for customer satisfaction increase."

"Don't bother- you will be miserable if you get hired into the training team."

"Unethical, micro-managing senior management. ALWAYS playing catch-up with competitors. Ethics committee is run by HR - distinct conflict of interest."

"Focus more on the customer experience. Separate Ethics from Legal. Don't micro-manage your people. Listen to good ideas. Rules should apply to EVERYONE. Not just everyone below director. Be forthcoming in your plans. Look out for your employees."

"It was exciting and challenging working for a major corporation, and managing 300+ employees working at the Call Center."

"Just be yourself and confident. If you can express to others that you know what to do and how to do it effectively and efficiently with as much clarity as possible, then the hiring manager will see the determination in your eyes that you have the passion required for the position within the company."

"I honestly loved working for Time Warner Cable every day I came to work."

"Their managing style was superb, and is still my favorite internship I have completed in my experience."

"It took me three interviews to get hired for an entry-level position although I have 25 yrs. of experience."

"I have to work on holidays and weekends to make ends meet."

"You get to work with the latest technology. The pay and benefits are great."

"There are a lot of smart people. You aren't going to BS them. However, at the same time, this is the kind of place people work at for a really, really long time. You will encounter plenty of people that have been doing the same job for a decade or more. Good luck trying to bring about change."

"We are paralyzed by red tape and poor processes. Taking risks is promptly stamped out. Our company takes pride in being fast followers, not innovators."

"There is way too much middle management. Teams are unbalanced, sometimes too big, sometimes too small."
