"I have worked for HP for a year now and it is a static company that has a lot of work to do before they can create a positive work environment for their employees. The company has drastically changed over the last 10 years and is showing from every position in the company. I would like to see better treatment of all employees not just contract workers. Fun to learn from but bad to work for."
"Excellent company! I've worked there for 5 years and liked it very much!"
"Great company, from day one I was honored as an asset and was given the best training to complete complex projects. I would live here if I could."
"The contract I was hired to manage has not been executed, and has been delayed 4 times (6 mos.). I was promised a permanent position with 4 to 6 months and I am still a contract employee. Promises have been broken and I have had to expand the ability to work from home at considerable cost without compensation. While the staff I work with is great, full time remote employment is not what I sought."
"Working at HP really helps my career development."
"HP is an alright place to work. In the department I work in, there is not much room for increase in pay or moving up. The division I work for (HP ES) is treated differently than the the rest of the employees which are not in this division. We are treated as second-class citizens. The company is still in turn-around mode."
"I have been working in HP as an apprentice since October 2013. This apprenticeship takes place at the Hewlett-Packard Centre de Competences France (HPCCF) site based in Sophia-Antipolis. The site has expertise in Operations Support Systems-Transformation (OSS-T) and is composed of 200 persons. I found the working environment is quite good, friendly and workable atmosphere. My supervisor and manager are really supportive and helpful."
"HP is a struggling company. CEO wants to put her name on everything and is forcing people back into the office. No amount of bodies in a building will make up for innovative ideas. Talent is abandoning the company quickly. Remaining workers are off shored and the quality of their internal systems really speaks volumes to this point."
"I worked for HP for almost 9 years and during this time I found it to be a great company to work for. HP's work environment is easy going until things get close to release dates and then it gets busy. The culture is great and most people are helpful. My only negative comment is it is difficult to move up the ladder without a bachelor's degree and so you must manage your career to reach your goals. Don't expect HP to help you very much."
"I have worked in HP since 2007."
"Frequent layoffs, secretive about job titles and career progression."
"HP is great company to work for with high moral values and work ethics."
"This was one of the best places I've worked. The people I worked with were great and it was a great environment."
"It is a big and great company!"
"I have had three different positions in three years. They can't seem to make up their mind what they want me to do."
