"I have been with the company since 2007 and the pay and compensation for IT individuals is less than average. This company is no longer about the employees, and is totally focused on how the company appears to Wall Street and the shareholders. There has only been one manager that I could put in any type of trust in. The rest from the top down will say one thing to employees and do the opposite. It's truly saddening since there are so many great co-workers in the company."

I have watched many people let go during many waves of Work Force Reduction programs and it is not fun to see talented people replaced by interns/college hires for a little more than half the salary of the person being replaced. HP does need more restructuring but any amount might not be enough. That being said, if you look hard you still can find the passionate people in the company."

"Because so many people were working on the same project as me, their was little work to go around."

"Hire fewer people. Work is thin without adding more people to work the same area."

"1st, look elsewhere, hard. 2nd, don't believe you will make it to retirement at HP. 3rd, Use HP as a stepping stone to a better job ASAP. 4th, don't look back."

"Remember it is in balancing the needs of customers, investors, vendors, management, government, and employees you will find success. Sacrificing one group will destroy the company, no matter how many other groups are helped. HP is on the road to destruction unless you can change your approach immediately."

"Clueless management, constantly shifting plans, lack of basic support to get the job done, no growth potential, constant reductions in pay and benefits, no job security, new dog eat dog, cover your back culture, etc. etc. etc."
