"Its commitment to the employee has been reduced with the years, not that much different that other big companies. Not enough budget for R&D."

"The company has an agenda to be small but it is very difficult to see where the management is going. Be more open, select your path and start running..."

"I liked working for such a well respected company but it was soon to lose that reputation."

"None, the old HP Way is dead and gone. It's now just a mediocre company."

"We care more about how you think than what specific knowledge you have although work experience is also very important."

"An overly strong focus on time to market and an over-reliance on what the company has been good at."

"Give workers time to pursue side-projects that could be developed into real products. Ensure marketing and upper management understand the importance of quality and due-diligence."

"The culture was great and the attitude was make it happen, and the people were all top caliber. My assignment was multi national in IJBU."

"Stay focused, they are very sharp folks, the interviewees will be asked pointed questions and preparation is very critical."

What don't you like about working at Hewlett-Packard?

"The way the jobs were moved from one plant to the other. There was no effort to retain employees. I worked in Corvallis and Palo Alto and the operation was to move to Fort Collins."

"Management #1 principle is respect for the individual. They intern with respect you and the company. Without it the chain is broken."
