"On October 6, 2014, Hewlett-Packard announced plans to split the PC and printers business from its enterprise products and services business. The split is expected to close by October 2015 and will result in two publicly traded companies: Hewlett-Packard Enterprise and HP, Inc. I worked for HP for 15 years and needless to say, this company is definitely going through some changes right now."

Hewlett-Packard Employee

"Despite the fact that I was only an intern, in terms of both the level of respect and responsibility I was given working here, I felt like a full-time employee whose work genuinely mattered. My coworkers were both intelligent and very personable. I would (and have) certainly recommend this company to a peer."

"I have worked for Hewlett Packard for over 27 years. Since the company began hiring outside people for the CEO position, and buying technology instead of inventing it, the "HP Way", which is to develop its people as its strongest asset, is no longer present. People are laid off, and 2 months later new people are hired for the same job. Management no longer cares about its people, just what Wall Street thinks."

"I have worked for HO from past 20 years and was a great company to work. I used to work in Bay area and moved to Roseville in 2002 as part of the project relocation. Due to some personal reasons, I am planning to move back to Bay area."

"I've worked for Hewlett Packard for 2 years now and in this time I have grown immensely with my technical expertise. This global company has the most customized SAP implementation of all SAP implementations globally which allowed me exposure many different modules, processes, and additional functions that are possible in the SAP space. Working in the support realm I became very familiar with ABAP and the SD modules specifically which allowed me to become a subject matter expert."

"I worked for HP for 33 1/2 years. I started HP when there was what employees call the HP WAY. HP hires professional talented people that get the job done. Over the years, the company has changed but I still believe in their vision and their products. I would go back to work for them tomorrow if I could. I took an early severance package in August 2012. I'm looking to go back to work now and would consider HP as one of the top companies to work for."
