"I have worked at Verizon since early 2013, but have been in the Digital Media space working for telecommunications since 2008. Verizon is a great place to work for those who enjoy a steady pace. They value tenure over aptitude and experience. Due to this, it is difficult to make a positive impact at the pace I am comfortable with.For this reason, I have chosen to look for more promising positions."

I resigned realizing I was never going to grow there with their poor ethics."

"Started at Verizon's Hampton Fiber Solution Center in Virginia a few months ago as a Customer Support Analyst. While the pay is exceptional for the job itself, the atmosphere is more geared to hitting metrics than actually taking care of the customer. The tools used are all created by merging separate systems and then again until it's one big system that wasn't designed to work the way it is and has all sorts of bugs and crashes. While it's a nice idea, the implementation is sorely lacking."

"We have had a layoff every three months for the last six years. Also, we have reorganized the SA team every six months during that same time frame."

"Develop a standard, and work towards that goal to improve the work environment."

"I do not like digging. I want to use my brain."

"I would listen to the needs of the employees. I would make it easier for a person to move from one department to the next."
