"I would suggest better training for the people hired."

"The management was very flexible, in the sense of giving us a lot of freedom and access to tools in the design and development of some of the proof of concepts and R&D done for Digital Companion (application similar to what Apple uses on the IPhone). They also encouraged us to take training to enhance our skill set."

"If you are smart, you can contribute to the bottom line. Work on getting your skill set strong. You will have plenty of opportunity to prove yourself."
What don't you like about working at Verizon Communications?
"Every time there was a reduction in force, the uncertainty that came with it was something I didn't like"

"You have to be a little more aggressive in marketing. Give incentives for personal contributions by rewarding."

"I had a company car. They don't do that anymore."

"The average life span at VIS is 30 days. Management is horrid. They don't help you but they will work against you. The management principal is if you don't work out we will get someone else. The pay scale is a joke."

"All management at VIS should get together at Verizon Place and drink the Kool-Aid."
