"Horrible place unless you only care about the pay. Real innovation is all but forbidden. Half of my team is totally incompetent (although this seems to be an issue across all carriers!). Technical decisions seem to be made by lawyers, unionized employees make getting things done much harder than it needs to be. Customer satisfaction surveys show that ISP's, cable, and phone companies are the worst and now I know why. Add to this that VZ et al. are complicit in spying on us en masse...."

"A decision to centralize most executive leaders in a single location for a Fortune 50 company with global presence provided for an excellent opportunity for the leaders to convene and make decisions. However, the downside appeared to be that removing them from much of the day-to-day experience often resulted in decisions that seemed to be a bit out of touch with the realities of the front line employees and customers."
