"I don't like the negative, parochial, corporate culture. You gotta 'bleed brown', and if that doesn't come naturally to you, in all its unspoken dimensions, God help you."

"Don't even try to do your own computer work in-house; your corporate culture is incompatible with it, and you don't tolerate any internal variation or let anyone opt out of that. Hire out your computer work."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"It is a very professional work environment. Being careful what you say and do, and how you present yourself, are extremely important. If you have a beard, shave it before going into your interview, as beards are not allowed in the workplace. In addition, hair may not be long enough to touch your collar, and sideburns may not extend past the ear lobes. Mustaches are allowed, but the corners may not extend beyond the corners of the mouth. A suit and tie are also required on Monday through Thursday. Incorporating these guidelines when you go to your interview will make you a much better candidate than someone who does not."
What don't you like about working at UPS?
"What I disliked most was that there wasn't as much opportunity for deep technical work. Much of the work was administrative, though nonetheless invaluable to a student becoming familiar with the mechanical engineering field."
