"Needs company customer services and website development which are not user friendly for the customers. Takes a lot of time in application process. The information technology is ruining the sales process for the agents. Spending more time in submitting and process and frequent organizational changes."

"Flexible hours. There are not any other positives, unless you count that you're not working at McDonald's."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Don't! Run the other direction! Since Farmers slavishly follows any and all new business trends, they're very big on behavioral based interviews. Sooo, make sure you've brushed up on your BS-ing abilities before you walk in the door."

What don't you like about working at Farmers?

"Everything else. Extremely stressful, boring, repetitive job with claim loads that are not manageable and expectations that are extremely unrealistic. Constantly seeking to implement new ideas and improvements, but never seem to be capable of learning from those ideas that fail - they just keep implementing new things over and over. No communication between departments and even teams within the same department. Pay is significantly less than other insurance companies in the area."
