"I worked there for just under a year in the career agent program. I found Farmers to be a company of integrity and openness. They provided top notch training to facilitate successful pathways to ensure successful goal accomplishment."
"I am a current employee that has over 20 years in the insurance industry. Farmers Insurance is competitive in the insurance marketplace and treats their employees ok. Like any company, we have areas of improvement in processes along with employee happiness. If you're looking for a career in insurance, give us a second look. We love talented people."
"I have worked here for the past three months, even though this district manager is knowledgeable in the insurance industry, his delivery can use some major improvements. He is knowledgeable about running, operating, financing, selling, and everything else involved in running an insurance district but he tries to be militant, the leadership is toxic, support is only given to top agents, and the "little guy" is forgotten. The atmosphere is of the type where depending on the mood of the district manager is how well the day will go. Basically it changes like weather patterns. If you can stomach toxic leadership, this is the place for you."
"I have started working for Farmers Mutual Hail Insurance since March, 2014 and good working environment. Company work culture is very good and love working with them. I am very much happy to be part of this company."
"Great company to work for."
"Overall, Farmers Insurance has been good to me and personally it is still a good company to work for."
"Some of the supervisors were not good supervisors."
"The management has their own core team and in-crowd that takes care of and has no interest in development of other employees. I don't recommend the IT security department for anyone to work in if they have a choice."
"I like Farmers. Good people and environment."
"Overall good working environment at work place. Wonderful work experience as Sr. Developer and team leading, good co-operation with co-workers. I am working in Farmers Insurance Group since 2+ years and currently working. All other developers support and respect each other, so it makes great team work and easy to handle development team."
"Great company to work with friendly environment."
"Great place to work, company has many benefits."
"Not an employee friendly company."
"They try to keep their employees but morale is fading. The pay is good for the area but management and mentoring is lacking."
"The work environment is not what it is said to be."
