"The best part is communicating with customers during the sales process."

"You must really like dealing with people every day. Many of the times people are upset with technical issues and have a negative disposition because of this, so be prepared for that. If you absolutely love sales and cell phones, this is a job for you."

"Middle management likes to micromanage. It seems like we are consistently threatened because no one can meet their sales expectations."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I have never met the president of our company. I think it would be very difficult for the CEO to meet us all personally, but possibly he could address everyone in some sort of mass format."

"The management was very flexible, in the sense of giving us a lot of freedom and access to tools in the design and development of some of the proof of concepts and R&D done for Digital Companion (application similar to what Apple uses on the IPhone). They also encouraged us to take training to enhance our skill set."

"If you are smart, you can contribute to the bottom line. Work on getting your skill set strong. You will have plenty of opportunity to prove yourself."

What don't you like about working at Verizon Communications?

"Every time there was a reduction in force, the uncertainty that came with it was something I didn't like"

"You have to be a little more aggressive in marketing. Give incentives for personal contributions by rewarding."
