"I would take a slightly more laid-back approach, and understand that, while banking should be done in a professional environment, not everything has to be so serious."

"The job is very repetitive, but that is the job description. I just wish there was a little more variety of ways for employees to take a break and relax. It's either go outside and smoke, or sit at a lunch table in the breakroom and watch boooooring talk shows about foreign country stock updates."

"Find more forms of entertainment that employees can enjoy during their breaks. The employees spend too much time constrained to their cubicle to have a small breakroom with one boring channel on an unreachable TV."

"We are understaffed. There are not enough people to distribute the work. On top of that, I get paid less to do the same work as the senior processors."

"If you have to, go for it. It's a job and it pays decently - just prepare to be busy."

"Overworked - there are not enough processors to handle the workload. Underpaid - there are senior processors who do the same work and get paid more. Micromanaged - not by my boss, but by the higher-ups. They monitor every step we take."

"Reassess the rank structure of processors. Open another processing office."

"Do your homework and understand the job function of the position you want. Don't just assume you know, but talk to people in the role and find out what they do on a daily basis. It's not difficult, but you have to know what you're getting and bring the right mentality to work every day. If you don't care enough to learn about the job, it will show when you interview."

"The career opportunities in the Colorado market are limited because many people in coveted roles have been there for years. Low turnover is a good thing, but it also limits the potential for high performers unless they are willing to relocate to Florida or California."

"Trust the decisions made at the local level. There are district managers who currently manage fewer associates than I did in one retail location. Empower the team so we can learn new skills and don't discount your team's willingness to help. Listen when we volunteer to help, because we really want to help."
