"I’ve worked at JPmorgan for 2.5 years. I enjoy the fast paced team centered environment. JP Morgan is a great company who takes care of their own. Management is transparent and easily approachable. Overall great company."

"I have worked for Chase in 2 different roles. As a collector and credit analyst. The most fulfilling so far would have to be the collections. I believe in that department you were empowered more to make decision to the benefit of the consumer and the company. As an analyst one thing that seems to be the normal is change. Daily it seems there is turnover and policy changes from day to day with many being changed right back in a week or two."

"I worked for Chase for 6 years and found it to be a great place to work for. My department was laid off due to the change in government regulations. I have nothing bad to say about Chase. I started in collections and ended in the mortgage modification dept and due to the economy gaining strength there was less need for mortgage modifications."

What don't you like about working at JPMorgan?

"I dislike the hours of my schedule. With credit card collections, the volume of calls required very early hours each day (starting before 5:00 a.m.), and two days off in a row were sometimes difficult to obtain."

"If the industry would allow, provide better hours for employees."

"Non-exempt and forced to work overtime without pay."

What do you like about working at JPMorgan?

"It was fine until the WAMU management group came in and took over to run their factory, where they didn't care if 25-45% of the loans were declined as long as the underwriters were touching 10 loans per day."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are an ethical underwriter who values the customer (LOs and their sources) and who will not sign a loan that you do not believe in, you won't be happy here."

What don't you like about working at JPMorgan?

"I disliked being reprimanded for taking too much time in communicating with LOs to structure the loan for an approval. Quantity is what they want - not quality, not customer service..."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Replace the upper management team from WAMU. WAMU got into trouble with this same group. Chase Manhattan management needs to take over the mortgage division before they are forced to relive the past of a company they bought out."

"Sixty people were brought on at the same time as me; it was very difficult to train and be cohesive."
