Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Do your homework and understand the job function of the position you want. Don't just assume you know, but talk to people in the role and find out what they do on a daily basis. "The career opportunities in the Colorado market are limited because many people in coveted roles have been there for years. Low turnover is a good thing, but it also limits the potential for high performers unless they are willing to relocate to Florida or California."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Trust the decisions made at the local level. There are district managers who currently manage fewer associates than I did in one retail location. Empower the team so we can learn new skills and don't discount your team's willingness to help. Listen when we volunteer to help, because we really want to help."
"Highly aggressive and very retail."
