"Be sure to interview with your eyes wide open, and no matter what anyone says, your position is not as secure as they make it out to be."

"Employment was tied closely to the economy, and when the economy went south my job was eliminated."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"It would have been nice if, after you laid off employees, you did not go out and buy two expensive corporate jets and refurbish the executive retreat. I'm not bitter, but that was a hard pill to swallow."
