"Working at J.P. Morgan is really good. They believe in doing business in the first-class way. One needs to try and improvise himself day-in and day-out, and to be competitive in the IB industry."

"Understand the importance of meeting strict deadlines. Prepare with at least the basic requirement of the job on offer.Be well aware of basic IB terms and valuation methods like DCF and LBO."

"The building has a skunk smell for months now and no one has done anything about it. Chase also took away the bonus."

"If you do not like working for The Man, this is not a company for you. Moving up in the company is possible, but it will be a LENGTHY process and you have to know the right people to brown-nose."

"I feel pigeon-holed in my current position. We are told over and over again how to move forward in our careers but struggle to find the right path/connection to do so."

"Not much - a very difficult job, given the times and pressure of both the economy and the government."

"I dislike all of the extreme pressure to produce more with less."

"There were a lot more stress relieving activities before that were removed. (A little goes a long way.)"

"Be assertive and self-assured. Show that your are hardworking and a team player."

"There are too many processes to adjust simple functions that would benefit customers and the organization."

"Have more of an open ear to the people who are completing the job every day. Some things don't make sense or they are redundant, and it is very difficult to adjust these functions."

"What I like about Chase is that they put their customers first."

"If you have no idea what you are doing don't even bother working here. They have scripts for everything and basically fake it till you make it. Work 10 hour days back to back."

"I have never worked in the banking industry and I've been to trainings but feel completely lost and have to fend for myself."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would make sure my employees were being trained correctly. I feel they break the training down in about a year's time and get you confused."

"JPMorgan Chase - its a global company, and in its dealings it has dealt fairly with many peoples and communities that it has operated in. The thing I am most proud of is that it did not participate in the predatory lending practices which led to the financial crisis of 2007."

"Please come to your interviews prepared. Product knowledge, and why you wish to work for a company are some things that hiring managers are looking for."

"I love working for the company! Currently I am attempting to relocate back to the Greater NYC area and I am looking at a variety of opportunities."

"I like the people I work with and the room for opportunity. They train you really well."

"The experience is nice; you get lots of valuable training that will help you as you move on. Unless you want to be part of the big bosses don't get too comfortable with the banker position. It will suck the life out of you."

What don't you like about working at JPMorgan?

"I hate being micromanaged and being given unrealistic goals working with a management team that has no idea what they are doing, and always having to watch your own back because you get thrown under the bus by your own team. I hate when they use scare tactics."

"Put yourself in the shoes of every company position, and try to understand what employees go through."

What do you like about working at JPMorgan?

"My manager was very committed to me and my development. The bank had amazing benefits for employees. The working environment with the staff was amazing; everyone got along and it is like a family away from home."

"This is a very fast-paced industry. The best qualified person is someone who has a desire to help others attain their financial dreams."

"At times it can be stressful working with other peoples' money."
