"Understand the importance of meeting strict deadlines. Prepare with at least the basic requirement of the job on offer.Be well aware of basic IB terms and valuation methods like DCF and LBO."

"I feel pigeon-holed in my current position. We are told over and over again how to move forward in our careers but struggle to find the right path/connection to do so."

"If you have no idea what you are doing don't even bother working here. They have scripts for everything and basically fake it till you make it. Work 10 hour days back to back."

"I have never worked in the banking industry and I've been to trainings but feel completely lost and have to fend for myself."

"I would make sure my employees were being trained correctly. I feel they break the training down in about a year's time and get you confused."

"JPMorgan Chase - its a global company, and in its dealings it has dealt fairly with many peoples and communities that it has operated in. The thing I am most proud of is that it did not participate in the predatory lending practices which led to the financial crisis of 2007."

"Please come to your interviews prepared. Product knowledge, and why you wish to work for a company are some things that hiring managers are looking for."

"I love working for the company! Currently I am attempting to relocate back to the Greater NYC area and I am looking at a variety of opportunities."

"The experience is nice; you get lots of valuable training that will help you as you move on. Unless you want to be part of the big bosses don't get too comfortable with the banker position. It will suck the life out of you."

"I hate being micromanaged and being given unrealistic goals working with a management team that has no idea what they are doing, and always having to watch your own back because you get thrown under the bus by your own team. I hate when they use scare tactics."

"My manager was very committed to me and my development. The bank had amazing benefits for employees. The working environment with the staff was amazing; everyone got along and it is like a family away from home."
