"I've worked for the Bank of America/Countrywide Home Loans and Countrywide Bank since 2006 and absolutely loved it. My career was exciting and I found many long term friends through B of A. I learned much as an EA working in several departments and really enjoyed my time with the bank. Their training courses, modules, on the job training and management are stellar. My overall experience was excellent and I'd love to work for them again if given the opportunity."

I spent the last 18 months of my job auditing the underwriters work and making sure the underwriter followed policy and procedures set by the government. Normally I would fail about 40% of the underwriting work due to minor errors. Overall it was a great experience and I hope I will land another job as motivating and as positive as the job I previously had with BofA."

"Lots of office politics. Party, play, and brown nose with the right people and you are on the road to success."

"A day at the office was: come in, sit down, and do as you are told, no questions asked. Management would ask for suggestion to improve department protocol, procedures, etc.; however, suggestions were rarely acknowledged and/or discussed."

"Show equal appreciation to all levels of business ladder. All levels of employment are contributing to the company's financial success."

"Know someone from the inside and pick their brain about the company current goals/structures."

"Very lousy IT system, massive IT oversight, committee just pushing paperwork."

"Don't hire great people only to tie them down to an extremely bureaucratic IT system."

"The drive is just too far from my home. I would like to be able to take mass transit to work."

"Maybe a little more interaction with employees. More conversations with the employees. Just try to get to know them past there first names."
