"It was always something new. As soon as I mastered one skill or task, I'd have 2-3 more challenges. I loved it."

"Always do the right thing. Even when it is hard. Understand that you don't know everything, and always look to build teams which you can learn from as well as lead."

"The leadership was changing, the values that I came to love were becoming lost as people were more worried about image than doing the right thing. The ethical climate was eroding and I couldn't continue to be part of it."

"Treat every person under your care as an intelligent, thinking being who has the ability to do great things in spite of seniority or junior status. I had some incredible subordinates who deserved accolades who were overlooked by my superiors because of their lack of time in the job, and I saw people rewarded for breathing oxygen just because they were in a job for a longer time. It was wrong. People notice."

"It was very good experience seeing what studies were happening and working with soldiers."

"The speed of the work was very slow, and very repetitive."

"No, I have no tips, as this is more of a test based application."

"The political ways people are looked at. They are not judged by their work."

"Have a heart. Look at the total Soldier, not just what you think of them."

"I liked just about everything from being able to see the world and the diversity to being able to stay physically fit and get paid for it."

"There were no interviews required. Just have to meet height and weight and make it through basic training."

"What I didn't like was having to be away from my family for extended periods of time."

"They may need to be a little more strict with their recruiting policies. There seemed to be a lot of people that were recruited with little to nothing to offer."
