"I am transitioning from Active Duty due to all of the deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan."

"None really. The military is a very polished well working machine."

"I think everyone who lives in this country should serve in the military. This country has given me 49 years of freedom and it's the least I could do."

"For anyone willing to fight for our country and risk their lives they should receive better pay."

"Not much I could say since it's the military and the government."

"Paid training, very good benefits, wide area of experiences that I would not have had otherwise."

"It is good to join at an early age to get training that few others will ever have."

"Freedom, the pay for the job is not at all competitive."

"There is not much that management can do as the DOD makes all decisions."

"Don't do it unless you're willing to live a disciplined lifestyle, it's not something you can 1/2 ass."

"We killed people for oil. Intel was poor and wrong most of the time."

"Military action should be an extreme last resort as outlined in US Army doctrine."

"No tips really, not a very challenging interview. Just need to score high on the ASVAB."

"Unfair at times and favoritism does exist which makes it very challenging for subordinates unfortunately."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Equality and more management skills are needed for senior leaders. Individual training is also recommended."
