"I have been in the Army for three and a half years. The Army has a very strong history and is known for producing great leaders and excellent team members. During my time in the Army I have been afforded the opportunity to attend courses to improve my knowledge of my position as well as teach those around me. I was able to travel the world and learn about other countries and their cultures and lifestyles. Additionally the Army has provided the opportunity to advance my civilian education side."

"I worked for 424th Engineer Company for the last two years. Rating my experience from a 1-10 it would be a 10. The experience is phenomenal and I'm consistently learning new skills vital. For example, I've taken courses in anti-terrorism, leadership, and cyber awareness. I'm routinely challenged with solving complex problems in a team atmosphere were my ideas, thoughts, and opinions are valued. Ultimately, joining the US Army reserves is the best decision in my young engineering career."

"Be honest with your security clearance adviser and always perform at 110%."

What don't you like about working at United States Army?

"The lack of communication and organization within my particular company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Better communications so that all soldiers are informed about the schedule and what is expected of them. However; I understand that sometimes those decisions are last minute and that there can be a lot of miscommunication."
