"the tip I have is the armys not for everyone, you have to be a hard worker, with mental stability , to be able to handle it"

"never have the tools or equipment need to complete job efficently"

"theres a lot to be changed , more organizing , it will increase production, better inventory controlle ,, better management"

"Had a great experience working at Ft. Bliss! My direct supervisor was amazing and I gained quality knowledge and skills while in this position!"

"This was a direct private sector GS position with the Department of Defense. It does require a clearance so make sure you have the ability to obtain and hold a security clearance."

"I really have no negative comments regarding my experience with this company."

"Joining the Army is very rewarding in so many ways, but what I have found most rewarding is what I have learned from others."

"I was able to learn about my position, and although I was ready to take a followers position, my ideas where not looked at because of my pay grade. Also, information was hoarded and never shared; limiting the possibility of innovating the team's ideas."

"Communication is key when working as a team. Therefore, make sure to keep all key positions informed to accomplish their mission."

"I was able to perform my responsibilities as a SIGINT analyst and was also given the responsibility to manage a secure area and its personnel."

"This was also a requirement in the Army and there will be places you might like but might also take you away from your family. Although, enlisting is very honorable, be ready to sacrifice that time when needed."

What don't you like about working at United States Army?

"The location was ok, but since it was out of country, I wasn't able to visit my daughter as often as I wanted."

"Allow more frequent trips home to spend time with family."

"Was given the unique responsibility to work for a special group in Iraq. There I had the most experience in my position than I ever had in my 6 years of SIGINT experience. I was also able to learn more about other positions and became a subject matter expert in the entire fusion cell."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Interviewing is easy if you don't have a criminal record and if you are in good physical and mental shape. Taking the AVAB test will determine your eligibility for positions open in the Army. I was fortunate to make a high score and chose to be a SIGINT analyst."

What don't you like about working at United States Army?

"The benefits where astonishing and the expectations of your work ethic were great. Being challenged in a positive manner was also a great bonus."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"My suggestions for management is simply to continue allowing personnel to train in various positions to help understand how everything fits together."

"Finances and management principles didn't seem too stable many times."

"Look at its overall concept and business approach in the market."

"It's real easy job, be at the right place in the right uniform at the right time and stay in shape."

"I don't like where the Army is going, at least in the intelligence field. People that are getting promoted have no business being in charge of anyone."

"Make it harder to promote, make it more based off job and actual leadership abilities, not how fast you can run your 2 mile."

"The HR system is competitive but the salary is too low. Salaries do not compare to private sector."

"Chain of command is too rigid, people promoted too fast."

"Those who are in management should be qualified academically as well. Tired of serving under people who were promoted but did not have a cle."

"I did not like the lack of control I had over my life and career. I was unable to choose where I would work next or what region of the world I would focus on."
