"Don't! Run the other direction! Since Farmers slavishly follows any and all new business trends, they're very big on behavioral based interviews. Sooo, make sure you've brushed up on your BS-ing abilities before you walk in the door."
What don't you like about working at Farmers?
"Everything else. Extremely stressful, boring, repetitive job with claim loads that are not manageable and expectations that are extremely unrealistic. Constantly seeking to implement new ideas and improvements, but never seem to be capable of learning from those ideas that fail - they just keep implementing new things over and over. No communication between departments and even teams within the same department. Pay is significantly less than other insurance companies in the area."

"If you truly want to put the customer first then start with your employees."

"I work with catastrophically injured persons, and I find my ability to assist in their care very rewarding."

"Every step in the handling of our claims is micro-managed. The environment is very competitive, as there is little room for advancement."
