"They seem to promote idiots into management, and then into VPs. They have lost the idea that people need to be trained. IBM management has been in a mode of "be lucky you have a job" for way too long. It might be true, but does not seem to inspire innovation, which is supposed to be the company's theme."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Invest in training people and building breath of their skills. People are very compartmentalized, they get promoted into management or senior position and can't do the job asked."
