(“JobVitals”, “MatchedJobs”,”Hire”, “Hire.CareerBliss.com”, “we”, “our” or “us”), including, but not limited to, careerbliss.com, hire.careerbliss.com, jobvitals.com and matchedjobs.com. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies only to Sites owned, operated and controlled by us and not to websites maintained by other companies to which we may link.

Information We Collect and How We Use It

We offer a number of services that do not require you to register for an account or provide any personal information to us, such as our search functions. You may be required to provide "personal information" to access or use certain parts of our Website or features of the Site. If you do not provide the requested personal information, you may not be able to access or use the features of the Site where such information is requested. We may ask you for personal information, which includes information that pertains to your identity, that we or certain of our third party partners consider necessary for performing an evaluation of your qualifications for their employment opportunity or products or services offers. In addition, we may collect certain information regarding the number and type of products and/or services you have responded to and completed.In order to provide our full range of services, we may collect the following types of information:

1. Information You Provide. When you register for an account with CareerBliss.com, we ask you for specific personal information limited to your name, e-mail address, and account password. Enrollment in the services we provide, such as emails about new job opportunities, can be included as part of the registration process. These services are completely optional and you may opt-out at any time. Additionally, we may combine the information you submit under your account with information from other services or third parties in order to provide you with a better experience and to improve the quality of our services. In the case of hire.careerbliss.com, you may also include information about a certain job posting and the associated company.
2. Log Information. When you access CareerBliss services, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. These server logs may include information such as: your web or search requests, Internet Protocol address ("IP Address"), browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request(s), and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
3. User Communications. When you send e-mail or other communications to CareerBliss, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests, and improve our services.
4. Cookies. In general, we use cookies and similar technologies to help us better serve you and improve your experience on our Site. As you browse areas of the Site, cookies may be placed on your computer's hard drive and/or your mobile device which may allow us to collect information, such as your internet protocol address and mobile device identifier. Cookies allow us to track your account so you don't need to retype the information each time you visit our Site. Cookies also allow us to provide certain services and features to you. 5. Behavioral Advertising. CareerBliss and our affiliated companies use information collected on your web browsing behavior (such as pages visited or search terms entered) to determine which advertisement should be displayed. This information is collected anonymously and does not include any information that could be linked to identify you as a specific person, nor does it include any of your personal information.
6. Affiliated Services on Other Sites. We offer some of our services on or through other web sites. Personal information that you provide to those sites may be sent to CareerBliss in order to deliver the service. We process such information under this Privacy Policy. The affiliated sites through which our services are offered may have different privacy practices, so we encourage you to read those privacy policies. CareerBliss is not liable for the content and activities of those sites. Your visits and access to such websites is at your own risk. Please note that third parties' sites may utilize their own cookies with users, collect users' data, and/or solicit users' personal information.
7. Web Beacons. We may use standard internet technology, called Web Beacons (also called clear gifs, pixel tags or web bugs) that are tiny graphics with a unique identifier that are used to track online movements. Unlike cookies which are stored on the user's computer, a web beacon is embedded invisibly on a webpage (or email). Web beacons help us better manage content through the service by informing us what content and which campaigns are effective. This allows us and our third party partners to gauge the effectiveness of marketing campaigns by showing how many emails the recipients have opened or by sending/receiving an anonymous identification number when you travel to a site from an online advertisement. We do not tie clear gifs to personally identifiable information.
8. Other Sites. This Privacy Policy applies to CareerBliss services only. We do not exercise control over sites linked to or referenced in advertisements; our own or third party user-generated content; or web sites and services other than those offered directly by CareerBliss.

CareerBliss only processes personal information for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. In addition to the above, such purposes include:

• Providing our services, including the display of customized content and advertising;
• Auditing, research, and analysis in order to maintain, protect, and improve our services;
• Ensuring the technical functioning of our network;
• Protecting the rights or property of CareerBliss or our users; and
• Developing new services.

CareerBliss processes personal information on our services in the United States of America and in other countries. In some cases, we process personal information on a server outside your own country. We may process personal information to provide our own services. In some cases, we may process personal information on behalf of and according to the instructions of a third party, such as our advertising partners.

Choices for Personal Information

When you register with CareerBliss, we ask you to provide personal information. If we use this information in a manner different than the purpose for which it was collected, then we will ask you for your consent prior to such use.

If we propose to use personal information for any purposes other than those described in this Privacy Policy and/or in the specific service privacy notices, we will offer you an effective way to opt out of the use of that personal information used for those other purposes. You can decline to submit personal information to CareerBliss, in which case we may not be able to provide all available services to you.

Information Sharing

CareerBliss only shares personal information with other companies or individuals outside of CareerBliss in the following limited circumstances:

We provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies, or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on our behalf. CareerBliss processes personal information only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with this Privacy Policy or any applicable service-specific privacy notice. We review our data collection, storage, and processing practices to ensure that we only collect, store and process the personal information needed to provide or improve our services or as otherwise permitted under this Policy. We take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal information we process is accurate, complete, and current, but we depend on our users to update or correct their personal information whenever necessary.

Accessing and Updating Personal Information

When you use CareerBliss services, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your personal information and to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to delete such data at your request if it is not otherwise required to be retained by law or for legitimate business purposes. We ask individual users to identify themselves and the information requested to be accessed, corrected, or removed before processing such requests. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, require disproportionate technical effort, jeopardize the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical (for instance, requests concerning information residing on backup tapes), or for which access is not otherwise required. In any case where we provide information access and correction, we perform the service free of charge, except if doing so would require a disproportionate effort.

Enforcement

When we receive formal written complaints at this address, it is CareerBliss’s policy to contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns. We will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between CareerBliss and an individual.

The California Consumer Privacy Act(“CCPA”) and Your Rights

CareerBliss wants to assure our California residents that we can provide them the rights afforded to them that are outlined in the California Consumer Privacy Act, or “CCPA”. Under the CCPA, California residents have certain rights to request access to and deletion of CCPA Information about them, as well as other rights described below.

How we collect, use and share CCPA information

During the CareerBliss.com account registration process, we collect e-mail address, physical location in the form of a city and/or state, IP Address of registration, and account password. In using our job search functionality, we may also store your job search history. This information is used by our partners to validate eligibility of offered services.
We may also collect information from third-party partners and affiliates. This information is limited to e-mail address, previous job search history and physical location based on city and state.

Additionally, we collect anonymized information related to your interactions with our site using cookies and web beacons. Further information and how this is used is part of our Privacy Policy and can be reviewed here.

We use your CCPA Information for business purposes including improvement of job opportunity results. We may also use this data to perform analytics and research to improve and develop our website, services and products.

We may share your CCPA Information with third parties for business purposes or as permitted or required by law including with service providers that provide marketing and advertising or other communications services, or that perform analytics and research to improve and develop our websites, services and products.

We do not sell (as such term is defined in the CCPA) the personal information we collect (and will not sell it without providing a right to opt out) your CCPA Information, or any other personal information that we collect about you.

CareerBliss contains offers and links to other sites offering valuable information. If you choose to provide any information to any of these entities, the collection and disclosure of your information by that entity will be governed solely by that entity’s privacy policy. CareerBliss makes no representations or warranties regarding these sites.

Right to Access CCPA Information: You have the right to request that we disclose certain information about our collection and use of CCPA Information about you over the past 12 months. This information consists of:

• the specific pieces of CCPA Information collected about you,
• the categories of sources from which CCPA Information about you was collected,
• the business purpose for collecting CCPA Information about you,

Right to Deletion of CCPA Information: You have the right to request that we delete CCPA Information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions. In response to a request, we will delete CCPA Information we have collected from you unless the CCPA Information is needed for the following:

• To complete a transaction for which we collected the CCPA Information, provide a good or service you requested, take actions reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform our contract with you,

To better protect you and CCPA Information about you, we will only respond to access or deletion requests that we have been able to properly verify through our authentication processes. To verify your identity, you will be asked to provide certain information, which we will only use to verify your identity and/or your authority to make the request. Responses to verified requests may take up to 45 calendar days or longer depending on the nature of the request. If additional time is needed, we will notify you.

Non-Discrimination Rights: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights under the CCPA.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. We will not reduce your rights under this Privacy Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect most such changes will be minor. Regardless, we will post any Privacy Policy changes on this page, and, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice (including e-mail notification of Privacy Policy changes).
