"I enlisted in the Air Force in 1990 and made a career of it, staying for 21 years. In that time frame I went from an entry controller to flight sergeant, and finally to monitoring of 300+ personnel for the commander."

"Working in the military is stressful but rewarding. You work hard to get the mission done. It may not always be what you want to do but the you learn to adapt because you know the impact you have is so great."

"I've worked for the Air Force for 20 years. It's been an awesome experience and I've been to some amazing places. I've learned the value of self discipline and the meaning of working as a team. There are currently over 300,000 personnel serving at more than 800 locations worldwide."

"I have worked for the United States Air Force (USAF) for 5 years and the education and training are above the best out there. I highly recommend the USAF for highly motivated individuals looking for a challenge and service to the nation."

"I've been in the Air Force since 2004. Back then each base had its own servers for everything from File Servers, Exchange Servers, and more. Now with AFNet the Communications Career fields are limited in what they can do at the base level, you have to be at one of the few bases that have all the servers now if you want to be involved in real IT things anymore."

"I worked in the NCC for a little under 3 years but, in that short time, I learned that things were structured very well, but I don't consider that a problem with the NCC as opposed to a problem with the military, or maybe just the Air Force. All throughout my training, there was a large attempt to drill the idea of camaraderie and wingmanship, but this is far from the way the real Air Force is. When you get out there, you have to be your own wingman."

"I have worked for both the US Air Force and the Air Force Reserves for almost 20 years. I have traveled the world and done amazing things that I would never have been able to accomplish as a civilian. Sad that I have reached retirement, but confident in the skills and aptitudes of those I have trained to replace me. Aim High is not just a slogan, it is a way of life!"

This organization is a great stepping stone for any individual who is trying to gain experience and work with the best of the best. I will always be proud to be known for serving in this branch."
