"the people there were amazing and flexible. It was never my coworkers I disliked, only the atmosphere."

"Well, make sure you talk to someone who has actually done the job you're looking at, get EVERYTHING in writing, and make sure they don't hold out on you: there are lots of opportunities in the Air Force, but you can miss them if you don't pursue them actively. Always get confirmation of rumors from a reliable source - mainly, a rule book or someone in charge."
What don't you like about working at United States Air Force?
"We worked at nights only swing shift, with inconsistent mission requirements and hours, and our leadership was so disconnected that they didn't even realize what was going on half or more of the time. Orders that came down from on high only made things more complicated, cut into sleep time, and never had any practical benefits."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would implement some changes suggested by the work force from the lower level employees because they were the ones who had to use it, and cut back on unnecessary spending to fund the practical changes needed."

"I like being able to do something I'm good at and defend my country at the same time. It is my dream."
