"The Air Force has its ups and downs, I always wanted to work in a company that was more mission support focused and hold more of a job as opposed to a lifestyle. I would often sit in during Lockheed engineer meetings and assist with troubleshooting our current weapon system issue with a working group. I found much more enjoyment and focus on problem-solving in this situation with fewer politics and more science. I even became a sought after POC for my weapon system to many of the engineers after becoming excessively knowledgeable on it."

"Be prepared to work 60-hour plus weeks if you want to advance past mid-level management."
What don't you like about working at United States Air Force?
"The politics and favoritism at some organizations can be overbearing."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"We have development teams which vector us to our next jobs. I wish these development teams were more helpful."
What do you like about working at United States Air Force?
"I enjoyed the experience and the co-workers I worked with. The traveling was also a plus."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I only can suggest having all proper documentations and licences in order."
What don't you like about working at United States Air Force?
"I enjoyed the job. Even though at times it was rather slow with the work load."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Management should require all to get a German Licence. It would help out the mission a lot."
"What can I say, it's the government. I lived it, loved it, and would go back."
