"I have worked for the US Air Force for 20 years and the experience has been great because of the travel and certain skillsets I was able to gain along the way. One of the great skillsets I was able to gain was being a supervisor to completed 100,000 to multi-million dollar contracts which were completed ahead of time."

"am currently working for The US airforce based in Creech airforce Base for approximately a year now. The position is a civilian contractor position to support and assist the airforce engineering team. Working in the base is a very comfortable and relaxing environment; people are helpful and positive. My supervisor is the Deputy Commander, and despite his busy schedule, he always makes time for regular meetings, which help both of us exchange directly to feedback about the work requirements and team achievements."

"It depends on your job (AFSC), and even more on the people. If you enlist as a maintainer like I unfortunately did, you're going to be 'shafted' on a regular basis by people who have no idea what they're doing, your peers will be bottom or near bottom of the barrel kind of people, and if you don't like hunting/fishing/football or you aren't from the south, you WILL be singled out and ostracized... good luck! Take what experience that you can while you have the opportunity; it's a fantastic stepping stone if you know the right people, and are lucky enough to be at the right places at the right time. Maintenance sucks, and AMMO sucked even more."

"Simply stated, this "company" exhibits a set of requirements that can either be seen as very structured or very redundant; as such, it is fairly difficult to assign an all-encompassing review that can be fairly dissected by the prospective employee."
