"The company is good, but they are not very present in NC so there is not much support from corporate."
"It was an honor working at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant. Everything that is done on that plant is with the warfighter in mind. If we don't do our job they will not come home."
"Great company to work for."
"Great company to work for."
"I've worked at Northrop Grumman since 2018. I have had a relatively positive experience with Northrop. The people are very nice and helpful. There are many different programs you can work with and management encourages finding the right position for you. But with all the positives, there all some negatives. As a big company, it seems people get promoted based on the time they are at the company, and not by the skill. I have worked with junior engineers that outperform senior level engineers. Promotions don't seem to be given based on merit, but rather tenure."
"Great Family oriented great benefits"
"No direction, no mission statement or goals."
"I have worked with the company for about 3 years now. Personally with majority of the team always being remote, it is hard to grow and to network as an individual. Within the company, I would like more opportunities to be in a collaborative face to face environment to work on projects and such. Work life balance is very well, and enjoy the flexibility of the company."

"Excellent company to work for."
"Good place to work. Northrop is doing the best it can to accommodate modern conveniences of being a software engineer such as remote work and flex hours though the nature of their work does limit that a bit."
"Good company with lots of great opportunities."
"This is a great first company to get started with in the career and open opportunities to rotate and to try new things. Some of the struggles for this company these days is how behind promotions are for employees and be competitive in salary. Some of the ways are still old and legacy and those wanting to learn new technologies will struggle a bit but the company is trying to shift in that direction."
"Great place to expand your career. Flexible hours"
"Northrup Grumman does extraordinary things. Unfortunately, this is overshadowed by inexperienced leadership, in some areas not all. There is a tendency to encourage deviation from documented processes and procedures and can detrimentally effect morale in the process. Aside from that, a shift in culture and embracing real robust corrective actions to challenges that provide lasting improvement would benefit them greatly."
